Last Name: Morris

Location (City, State): Coal Run, Ohio

Crops/Animals raised: Corn and soybeans, very little hay.

What is the current weather and how has the weather been?: Since June 25th, we have had 13 days over 90 degrees.  We went from water standing in fields, to dry, 1/3 inch most rains.

In a detailed description - what is the current status of crops/livestock? (i.e. plant/harvest/finishing): Corn is great! It's taller than the hood on my MF 1155.  Soybeans are coming along, fields returning to normal.

What is your outlook for the upcoming weeks?:  Hot and little rain.  90 degree plus til Monday then will cool down to mid-high 80's.  Possible shower, little water.  The ground has a crust with moisture under it.

Any advice for anyone else in your area dealing with similar conditions?:   Keep a stiff upper lip.
