Crops/Animals raised: Corn and soybeans, very little hay.
What is the current weather and how has the weather been?: Since June 25th, we have had 13 days over 90 degrees. We went from water standing in fields, to dry, 1/3 inch most rains.
In a detailed description - what is the current status of crops/livestock? (i.e. plant/harvest/finishing): Corn is great! It's taller than the hood on my MF 1155. Soybeans are coming along, fields returning to normal.
What is your outlook for the upcoming weeks?: Hot and little rain. 90 degree plus til Monday then will cool down to mid-high 80's. Possible shower, little water. The ground has a crust with moisture under it.
Any advice for anyone else in your area dealing with similar conditions?: Keep a stiff upper lip.
